3458 Double plane
The double plane is equipped with a double blade made of carbon tool steel (58 HRC) with flap. It is used for fine machining of flat surfaces, for planing out large surfaces as well as for breaking cut edges instead of a sanding block. The inclination of the blade is 45°. The flap removes the planing chips. The planer body is made of beech wood, the planer sole of high-quality white beech wood. Both woods are dried to 10% residual moisture. The edges are provided with radii. A handy and ergonomic plane.
