Forestry KWF Certification
The Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e. V. is the Board of Trustees for Forest Work and Technology (short: KWF). KWF is a registered, non-profit association and is supported by over 2,500 members. The KWF informs and advises all stakeholders in the forestry, timber and bioenergy sectors and is available to all as a point of contact. It concentrates on the important tasks of safeguarding the future, preventing accidents and protecting the environment in a way that is oriented towards the common good and transcends national boundaries. It is thus exemplary for the joint, rational and forward-looking performance of tasks by the federal government and the states, based on the division of labour. The Board of Trustees is the only cross-state organisation that tests and certifies forestry technology, forestry equipment and protective equipment. Our tools that are awarded this test mark meet the high demands of professional forestry work. They pass the complete utility value test, are demonstrably safe, ergonomic, environmentally friendly and economical. In addition, they have proven their suitability for use in twelve-month practical applications.
